My Great grandfather, Grandfather, and father built this masonry wood stove. A mortar joint failed leading to smoke staining along with deteriorating joints between fire brick inside firebox.

The exterior joint was repaired, firebox rebuilt, and the door was also changed out to feature a glass window.

In total 4 generations have worked on this masonry woodstove with this being one of my first projects.
